Teaching Evaluation Comments
CS 120B, Spring Term 2008
- great TA
- Excellent.
- Understands the material very well and is able to resolve problems with the ISE software (despite problems with the ISE software)
- Really helpful on labs and on homework. Knows the materials of the lab quite well.
CS 120B, Winter Term 2008
- A nice and helpful guy.
- Always prepared for lab, returns assignments promptly. Understands the labs very well and works hard to make sure everyone gets help if they need it.
- Thought the explanations and objectives were very clear compared to other TAs.
- Conley is an excellent TA. His experience in the field of computer science/engineering is beyond scope. He seems to know alot about FSM, VHDL.
Always placing the need of his students first and helping whenever possible, he made my life easier. 120B seems hard, however his encouragement in lab
made it seem easy. Being a talkative and expressive TA, he encourages interaction and plan-out before each lab. This strategy makes lab easier. I enjoyed
having Conley for lab this quarter and would recommend him.
ENGR 180, Fall Term 2007
- You are the best and the nicest TA. Keep up the good work, and be nice to those people in the next quarter too! I feel bad that I suck so bad at grammer,
but you still give me a good grade [on homework]. Really appreciated. Chatting with you in lab is fun. I think sometimes it will be great if you write a little more
description for labs rather then just bullet points. Because people tend to not taking notes during lab, and we start to forget the details when the
explaination gets a bit long. Well, just something to consider for a bit. Thanks again, I had a great quarter
ENGR 180, Spring Term 2007
- He is a very good TA. He is there when his students need help. His instructions are clear and helpful. He gives useful examples so students know what to
do. I would recommend him as a TA and I hope he keeps up the good work.
- Great TA, explain everything clearly. ONE OF THE BEST TAs ever
ENGR 180, Winter Term 2007
- best Teaching assistant, helpful and insightful
- very nice and organized. very very understanding
- Conley is a good TA. He is knowledgeable about the all of the subject material but sometimes his opinions and suggestions are sometimes different to
how [the lecturers] think. Conley always provded good feedback when we did our assignments and how to improve them.
